Ismael Alvarez, Da Prodigal A.K.A Proda was born and raised in New York City, Queens. In 2004 He moved to Fort Wayne Indiana from North Carolina with Pastor Keith Reynolds. In 2006 he met Brother Ali and joined the Anointed Entertainment family. In 2009, with much prayer Brother Ali and Proda decided to bring the Record Label to the next level which at this time Brother Ali relinquished all rights as CEO of Anointed Entertainment and made Proda the new CEO of the company. Proda’s vision along with Brother Ali is to use music as a tool and only as a tool to reach people of all kinds and to impact the Kingdom of God. Da Prodigal is a name taken from Luke 15, he choose the name because it most resonates with his story. Later on people started calling him Proda for short and it just stuck. Proda released his debut album “Reflections Of A Road Less Traveled” in 2007, available on iTunes and all major digital distribution sites. Since then he’s been working on side projects with other artist and most recently has devoted all his attention to the new Album “Goodfellas” which is expected to release 2010.
